Soul II Soul book Rock City on Club Classics tour 2020 - dates, ticket prices and availability

A classic British album from the late 1980s which went on to sell over 10 million copies worldwide, will be brought Back to Life on tour.

Soul II Soul, the group led by Jazzie B, will present the Club Classics tour next year, visiting 15 cities, including Nottingham on Friday, October 30.

They'll be playing their 1989 debut, Club Classics Vol 1, in its entirety plus more fan favourites at each show. The album includes their two biggest hits, Keep On Movin’ (which sold over a million copies in the US alone) and the UK number one single Back To Life (However Do You Want Me).

The tour follows their return to the stage last year.

"Who would have thought that thirty-odd years later we’d still be on the road with this thing?," said Jazzie B, who was awarded an OBE for services to music in 2008.

"It’s been a helluva journey and I feel truly blessed. Now, I’m looking forward to going back to some of the familiar venues where we’ve made a lot of friends. I’m just as pumped about testing out places we’ve never been before.

"I want to thank to the fullness everybody who’s given their support up until now, and I’ll see you along the way – a happy face, a thumpin’ bass for a lovin’ race."

The double Grammy winners and five-time Brit Award nominees are promising a "stunning production."
