There's just been a State of Play event, so it could be a while before the next one. Still, with many unknowns surrounding upcoming exclusives like Saros and Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, I'm hoping for some big reveals before the year is out.
Since the series of shows began in 2019, Sony has used the State of Play presentations to reveal big-hitting games and details such as the initial reveal of Ghost of Yōtei, debut gameplay footage for Marvel's Wolverine, and more. So, it's always worth tuning in to the State of Play live streams if you want to be alerted to any big announcements for new PS5 games.
Following the release of the PS5 Pro console, all eyes have turned back to the next State of Play - a new console will need new games to play on it, after all, even if it is a mid-gen refresh machine. Here's what we know.

The next State of Play has yet to be revealed. One aired on September 24, 2025, so it could be a few months until the next one.
What was revealed at the last Sony State of Play?
The last Sony State of Play event aired September 24, 2025. This was focused on Saros, showing off extended gameplay for the first time. Here's what else was revealed:

What can we expect from the next Sony State of Play?
We don't know exactly what'll be shown at the next State of Play. I'm hoping to see more on Fairgames, which hasn't seen an update in years. Then there's Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, the next game from Naughty Dog, which we know very little about presently. Then there's whatever the God of War studio, Sony Santa Monica, is working on, and the next entries into the Spider-Man series. We'll have to wait and see.
