Sony Michel has a career day for the Patriots

Former Georgia running back Sony Michel had a career day in the New England Patriots win over the Las Vegas Raiders this past Sunday.

Michel had a career long rush of 48 yards, rushing for 117 yards on 9 carries for the day.  Michel also tacked on two receptions for 23 yards, finishing with 140 total yards of offense.

The Patriots won by a score of 36-20, moving to 2-1 on the season.  As good of a game as Michel had, it was Pats’ running back Rex Burkhead who stole the show.  Burkhead finished the contest with 49 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns, 49 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.

The Patriots travel to Kansas City next Sunday to face the reigning Super Bowl champion Chiefs, led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid.
