A man caught speeding down the M60 at 120mph had taken the car without his father's permission.
Officers from the North West Motorway Police pulled over the driver after spotting it travelling at high speed on the motorway.
As well as taking the car without permission, the driver did not have a licence or insurance.
On Twitter, police said the driver was reported for the offences committed.
The post read: "This vehicle was travelling at 120mph on the M60 when stopped. Driver had no licence, no insurance and had taken the vehicle without dad's permission. Reported for all offences."
