Justin Bieber's new $8.5 million house 'looks like Glasgow Caledonian University'

It goes without saying that pop superstar Justin Bieber is a fan of Glasgow.

Well, our gastronomic delights at least after he was spotted munching a haggis supper - washed down with a can of Irn Bru - at city institution the Blue Lagoon back in 2016.

And while the rumours that the supper served as inspiration for recent track "Yummy" remain unfounded, another Glasgow connection to the Canadian singer has surfaced.

That is that his $8.5 million gaff in Beverley Hills looks like the spitting image of Glasgow's Caledonian University.

Bieber and wife Hailey have been living in the swish pad in Los Angeles since tying the knot back in September 2018.

Sprawled out over 6,100 square feet of space, it was built in the 1930s and was given a modern renovation by previous owner, Hollywood designer Charles Infante.

And it boasts five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a sunken family room, a home theatre, library and wine cellar, as well as a zero-edge swimming pool, a cabana with a fireplace and a fire pit surrounded by olive trees.

The grey coloured mansion features a curved glass structure at its heart that you'd be forgiven in thinking it was the rounded Govan Mbeki building at the uni's campus next to Buchanan Street Station.

While the small circular tower at Bieber's property gives off a whiff of The Saltire Centre at the uni - which is home to the GCU library.

Sorry Justin but we are howlin'!

However, the one big problem for Bieber is that it's the double of the in Glasgow city centre that most folk refer to as 'Super Caley'.
