In ancient times, an additional amount of adrenaline may have helped our predecessors survive attacks, or at least escape as quickly as possible.
Experts see that stress can be positive, something that drives you and spurs you to excellence.
German Coach Mona Henken-Mellies says: “Consider stress as a friend, not as an enemy. Stress becomes negative only when it gets out of control. But, it should not dominate us.”
We should not allow stress to aggravate, because it’s like a balloon, and if you blow in every time you get angry about something, the balloon will burst sooner or later, the German News Agency quoted Henken-Mellies as saying.
To prevent such situation, it is better to think positively and not just focus on the negative issues.
We should get rid of some stress at once, and not gradually. To release the anger, Henken-Mellies recommends the 4-4-4 breathing technique (Inhale with counting from 1 to 4 slowly, keep the breath for four seconds, and then slowly exhale within four other seconds). This exercise should be repeated over four minutes.
