PUNE: The Bhosari MIDC police are searching for a man after a woman lodged a complaint stating that he had sexually assaulted her 14-year-old son after the two became friends via a social media platform.
The woman said in her complaint that the man had sexually assaulted her son on March 9 at a secluded spot in Moshi. The teenager narrated his ordeal to her on Monday, following which she approached the police to file a complaint.
According to the complainant, her son had on March 8 came across the man on a social media platform. “They exchanged numbers, and the man invited him to his home,” said sub-inspector Amardeep Pujari of the Bhosari MIDC police.
