Soccer Aid fans call on Wrexham to snap up World XI celeb player for next season

Soccer Aid fans are calling on Wrexham FC to take on one of this year's celebrity players following an impressive performance.

The team was recently acquired by acting star Ryan Reynolds who is now its co-chairman. While the team's goalkeeper, Ben Foster - who is also taking part in Soccer Aid - recently confirmed he's signing a new one-year deal with Wrexham, many are now calling on the team to make a new addition.

Some fans on social media have pegged TikTok personality Noah Beck to play for the prestigious team following his performance in the first half of the game. Throughout the match, Beck had been going head-to-head with Tom Grennan which Foster noted he loved watching.

Wrexham and Soccer Aid fans have similarly been impressed by Beck's performance, with some stating he should be snapped up for the next season. User @SamAlwaysWs wrote: "Wrexham should sign over Noah Beck." Meanwhile, @Callxm6 wrote: "I could see Noah Beck do well at a club like Wrexham."

User @fattymattysmith wrote: "Noah Beck to play for Wrexham next season seems to make a lot of sense? 33m followers would fit nicely in with the Wrexham marketing machine. He's also bloody good." While @Saneja_ wrote: "I'm backing Noah Beck do a season at Wrexham."

Noah attended the University of Portland in 2019 where he studied sports. However, due to the pandemic he only managed to complete his second semester of freshman year online before dropping out. But now, the American social media personality is most known for his content on video-sharing platform TikTok where he has 33.9m followers.

He began using TikTok during quarantine and his videos began to go viral quickly. Noah joined a content collective called 'The Sway House' but quickly became one of the stand-out members.

Noah was in a relationship with fellow social media personality Dixie D'Amelio from September 2020 to late 2022. Manchester United fan Noah returns to take part in his second Soccer Aid - having made his debut last year where he scored a 22nd-minute penalty.

He also managed to fire home from the spot in the penalty shootout - which the World XI won 4-1. He also took part in the Sidemen Charity match at The Valley last September.

The game raised over £1,000,000 split across Campaign Against Living Miserably, Teenage Cancer Trust, Rays of Sunshine, and M7 Education. He finished the game with two assists.
