SOC:Eriksen at home and 'feeling good' after heart scare

Denmark footballer Christian Eriksen has said he is "feeling good" and his "recovery has already started" after being released from hospital less than 24 hours after he collapsed in Sunday's abandoned friendly with Ukraine in Odense.

In scenes similar to 2021, when he had to be resuscitated on the field during a European Championship game, distressed players surrounded him to shield the medical workers. He lost consciousness but could later walk to the ambulance.

In a statement posted to Instagram on Monday, the former Tottenham and Manchester United star, already fitted with an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator device after his previous collapse, wrote: "I want to let everyone know that I am doing well and that I am home with my family.
