SNP conference date confirmed as event to be held in-person for first time since 2019

Nicola Sturgeon at the 2018 SNP conference

THE SNP have confirmed their first in-person conference since 2019 will go ahead at the end of the year.

Nicola Sturgeon’s party held their 2020 and 2021 conferences online as the Covid pandemic disrupted many large gatherings.

In the last year, a number of party conferences have gone ahead in-person across the country – including events for the Scottish Greens, Scottish Labour, Tories and Alba.

Now the SNP have set the date for their long-awaited event, coming ahead of the party’s proposed Scottish independence referendum to be held in 2023.

Independence is likely to be at the centre of the agenda at the upcoming conference, with members keen to get on the campaign trail.

The 88th SNP conference will be held at The Event Complex Aberdeen from October 8-10.
