Something scary has crept up in the forecast for Halloween: snow.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a chance Chicago could see less than half an inch of snow on Thursday.

But we could see snowfall even sooner. A chance of snow is on the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday as well, NWS says.

Here’s what the forecast looks like for the next few days:

Tuesday, Oct. 29

Mostly cloudy with a high of 43 degrees and a low of 36 degrees. Rain and snow expected after 10 p.m. Little or no snow accumulation is expected.

Wednesday, Oct. 30

Rain and snow will switch to only rain after 9 a.m. High will be near 40 degrees and the low will be around 35 degrees.

Thursday, Oct. 31

Rain and snow before 4 a.m. and then snow is likely after 5 a.m. with up to half an inch possible. The high will be 39 degrees and the low will be 26 degrees. The evening will be mostly cloudy with a chance for rain and snow before 11 p.m. and then a chance for snow.
