Temperatures look set to plummet across the UK as snow and gales have been predicted later this week.
Back-to-back storms - which have already cost three lives - have battered the country with more than 45,000 homes left without power this past weekend.
Storm Corrie brought gusts of up to 90mph through parts of the country following the battering of Storm Malik, which blew down trees, damaged power lines and ripped roofs off homes in the north of England and Scotland on Saturday.
Now, more stormy weather has been predicted by the Met Office. Here’s what you need to be aware of.
Will there be snow in the UK this week?
Temperatures are expected to remain relatively mild through the middle of the week, but an Arctic plunge caused by a cold sweep will bring in snow on Friday for Scotland, with temperatures likely to get as low as -3C over the weekend.
The cold front is expected to swing across the country later Thursday, overnight into Friday. This will bring a band of heavy rain first, followed by something colder on Friday.
Weather Outlook forecaster Brian Gaze also told the Express: "Pulses of polar maritime air from the north-west could bring brief colder interludes, with showers turning wintry in the north and over the Welsh mountains."

The North East was forecasted to see gusts of 50mph over the mainland, with a bit more across the far North East.
The Met Office has a yellow warning in place for the north and east of Scotland, as further disruptions are expected following the storms this past week.
The night is expected to be much wetter with showers and winds in the far North East easing.
Things will turn clear and chilly for a time, with cloud, rain and drizzle in the west moving eastwards later.
Wednesday is expected to be cloudy for many, with patches of light rain and drizzle moving eastwards. The rainfall is forecasted to be heavier in the far northwest. It will be brighter in the south with mild and breezy weather.
On Thursday, squally rain will sweep the southeast, followed by sunshine and then wintry showers later.
