A cheeky fox was filmed scampering away with what appeared to be a burger in its mouth on an Edinburgh street.
The wily little mammal appeared in a TikTok created by Mary Jean Anne and shows the little chap having snaffled a glorious prize.
But what really tickled those behind the camera was the furry fox appearing to follow the green cross code by looking both ways before it crossed the road.

The video was taken close to Edinburgh Zoo and had the caption ‘Just a normal day in Edinburgh.’
One person commenting on the video believed they had spotted the devilishly handsome chancer before, they said: “Oh my god, that is the wee fox from Costco car park…I’ve fed it strawberry laces and pet it.
“It’s caused no harm and is used to folk.”
It is not known how the cunning critter acquired the beef burger it is carrying, whether it was raking bins or sneaking it off the table of an unsuspecting barbecue cook.
