Arsenal made it four wins from four in the Champions League this season and recorded another victory without conceding a goal during their 3-0 result over Slavia Prague.
The hosts were unbeaten in their domestic league but had lost each of their previous three European games this year which was a complete contrast to the Gunners.
Arsenal, who started slowly, went ahead through Bukayo Saka’s penalty kick. Perhaps fortuitous to be awarded a spot kick the Arsenal captain slotted it home with ease and from there the Gunners took control.
Mikel Merino, leading the line in the absence of Viktor Gyokeres, added a second just seconds into the second half before flicking on a direct ball to add a third. David Raya made a couple of decent stops to help Arsenal secure another clean sheet with is a club record equalling eighth in a row.

A long wait for a win
17:10 , Mike JonesSlavia Prague are winless in their last 14 Champions League matches (six draws, eight defeats) since winning their first game in the competition in September 2007 against FCSB.

Who is the best midfielder in the Premier League?
16:30 , Lawrence OstlereThis weekend the pundits drooled over two Premier League midfielders in particular. Micah Richards called Declan Rice “one of the best players in world football”, while Jamie Redknapp described Moises Caicedo as “the best of his type in world football”. Jamie Carragher hailed both and said: “Right now we are watching two of the best midfielders in world football, there’s no doubt about that.”
Putting aside how annoying the phrase “world football” has become, they have a point. Rice and Caicedo are both doing exceptional midfield things every week. On Saturday, Declan Rice arrived on the scene with a flying leap into the box to power in a header at Burnley and, a couple of hours later, Caicedo was tackling three Tottenham players in six seconds, the third of which set up Joao Pedro to score.

Trpisovsky on facing Arsenal
16:25 , Mike JonesThe Slavia Prague coach said: "They are a mature team, they control the matches very well, they don't let the opponent finish.
“They have great players and probably the best set-piece taker in the world – Declan Rice.

Arteta on Slavia's threats
16:20 , Mike Jones"Slavia have been competing really well in all different competitions, and we know we have a really tough match,” Mikel Arteta said when explaining how he sees tonight’s match up.
“They are unbeaten here at home all season. They're a team that they are very used to playing together.
“They have a very clear philosophy. They create a massive atmosphere as well, so we know it's going to be a really tough match."
Trossard emulates Arsenal mentality
16:15 , Mike JonesLeandro Trossard gave an insight into his own mentality since joining Arsenal and believes as though it is a feeling shared by the whole team.
He said: "When I lose a game, I can get quite upset.
“I just have the mentality that I want to win everything, whether it is football or games at home where I play with my family, my kids or whatever."

A tough choice
16:10 , Mike JonesSlavia Prague coach, Jindrich Trpisovsky must decide which of his two goalkeepers he wants to start tonight.
“Jindřich Stanek is our No1, but Jakub Markovic stepped in brilliantly,” Trpisovsky explained.
“He helped us in all the tough matches and kept the goal locked down.
“But only one can play, and that decision mainly rests with the goalkeeping coaches. We’re happy to have two excellent goalkeepers."
Will Zubimendi's absence help Slavia Prague?
16:05 , Mike JonesSlavia coach Jindiich Trpisovsky spoke about how Martín Zubimendi's suspension could impact Arsenal.
He said: “He is brilliant in build-up play, technically outstanding and a key distributor of decisive passes.
“But they have a broad squad of top-class players.
“Some of those who didn’t play that much are hungrier now and, in the end, that could even be tougher for us."
Arsenal v Crystal Palace clash rescheduled from ‘dangerous and irresponsible’ date
16:00 , Mike JonesThe Carabao Cup quarter-final between Arsenal and Crystal Palace has been moved due to a fixture pile-up.
Palace faced the mildly ludicrous prospect of playing four games in eight days when the calendar reaches mid-December – hosting Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday 14 December before the Carabao Cup clash with the Gunners on Tuesday 16 December, a Conference League match against Finnish side KuPS two days after that and then a league game against Leeds to round off the hellish week on Sunday 21 December.

Will Arsenal keep another clean sheet?
15:55 , Mike Jones“It's a huge platform to win games and the difficulty of that in this competition and when you’re playing away, even more so,” Arteta said of Arsenal’s ability to keep clean sheets.
“We know we’re going to face a really good challenge here and, in the team as well, they are very intense, very direct, very vertical and we're going to have to be really good to achieve what we want.”
Will Arsenal rotate their squad for the game?
15:50 , Mike Jones“That's a situation that we've been dealing with for a few weeks and trying to have the right freshness, the right cohesion within the team,” replied Arteta when asked how his team will handle the continuous schedule.
“The team has been competing really well in all different competitions and we know that we have a really tough match here, they are unbeaten here at home all season.
“It's a team that are very used to playing together; they have a very clear philosophy, they create a massive atmosphere as well, so we know it's going to be a really tough match.”

Martin Zubimendi suspended for Arsenal
15:45 , Mike JonesArsenal midfielder Martin Zubimendi is suspended for tonight’s Champions League tie while Declan Rice goes into the game one booking away from missing the upcoming match against Bayern Munich.
Mikel Arteta said: “It comes as well with the situation of Zubi.
“We know that Zubi was on two yellows as well, so that's the competition. At some point you might miss players in crucial games.
“Obviously we're going to try to avoid that as much as possible but it's part of the competition.”

Arteta explains concerns over Gyokeres injury
15:40 , Mike Jones“He’s definitely not available,” Mikel Arteta said when asked if Viktor Gyokeres would play tonight.
“He hasn't trained, and we need to do some more tests and scans in the next few days to understand the extent of the injury, but for this game he's not available.
“I am concerned because he hasn't had many muscular issues and he had to leave the pitch and he was feeling something and that’s obviously never a good sign.
“Especially for a player that is very, very explosive, so we are digging in a little bit more to understand where we are in terms of injury and we will announce it when we know more.”
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta concerned by Viktor Gyokeres injury
15:35 , Mike JonesArsenal head coach Mikel Arteta says he is “concerned” about a muscular injury suffered by Viktor Gyokeres, with the Gunners working to discover the severity of the problem.
The Swedish forward missed training on Monday after being substituted with the issue during Saturday’s 2-0 win over Burnley.
