Sky TV has suffered a major outage with over 30,000 users left unable to watch their favourite shows.
Tens of thousands of customers have reported problems on the Downdetector website since 9pm last night, with many continuing to face issues this morning.
Most Sky TV users said they were having trouble watching live shows, which kept crashing, while a small number reported having a complete blackout of services.
Other users said they could not access content despite having no issues with their internet connection.
When trying to connect, viewers were greeted with the message on their set-top box: ‘You can’t watch TV at the moment due to a connectivity problem.’
Some users reported trying to unplug their devices and reboot, but said they would crash when relaunched.

One customer said: “I thought it was my TV at one point, turning it off at the mains a couple of times, but got sick and tired of turning it on and off and also did not want to ruin my TV or the sky box. It’s only now that I have read that there is an outage.”
One customer made light of the situation by saying: “I hope Sky didn't do this to test the patience of the family dynamics in households across the UK because if it was anything like ours it turned into charades and a huge argument!
“I admit I got it wrong, it was Sky's fault, not the box, not the remote batteries, not the TV, not the HDMI ,wire, not the internet connection. It was none of the above it was Sky!”
While the number of customers affected by the outage lowered overnight, reports have been climbing back up this morning.
As of 6.29am, more than 2,000 people are unable to switch on Sky TV and around 5 per cent of users are reporting problems with Sky Broadband.
