Sky launches new home school shows for kids

Sky has launches a host of new on demand programmes for children during the coronavirus lockdown.

The TV and Broadband provider is helping those homeschooling their children with some tips on what to watch at Sky in coming weeks,

Not only are there ways to entertain kids with their favourite programmes, Sky have also considered educational learning too.

Ranging from pre school to 11 years, here are their suggestions of what’s best to watch on Sky Kids.

Foundation: Early Years – under 5s
Featured content includes Numberblocks which focuses on numeracy, Labuntina for educational songs, alongside shows such as Ryan’s Mystery Playdate, Rusty Rivets and Octonauts. 

Key Stage 1 – 5-7 year-olds
Featured content includes natural history and science programming such as Ocean Rescue: Dive In & Do It and Maddie’s Do You Know? alongside dance tutorials from Kidz Bop and Sky Sports’ Kids Fit in 5.

Key Stage 2 – 8-11 year-olds  
Shows include Braydon Meets, Horrible Histories and Operation Ouch.  A special episode of weekly news show FYI focusing on Coronavirus will be available from 28 March.

Their favourite YouTubers, cartoons and even educational programmes are on Sky Kids to make staying at home that little bit easier.

Sky are also encouraging other people who saw the Facebook post to share with the hashtag #togetherathome to make more people aware of the content they provide.

The TV and Broadband provider are also offering packages with other offers including giving customers free access to Sky Go Extra and giving Sky Talk customers free UK calls at all times.
