Respawn Entertainment has brought back the Skull Town location so Apex Legends players can once again enjoy the location - this time in arena battle mode.
For the past week, the official Apex Legends Twitter account has posted a couple of tweets hinting that Skull town would make a comeback.
Now the hotzone will return for the first time to host what the devs call a 'fair fight. This tongue-in-cheek reference comes from the fact that Skull Town was renowned among players for being a hot drop where you'll most likely be eliminated from the game before it's even begun.

During the Genesis Collection Event, Skull Town will be added to the arena rotation in one-hour increments.
In addition to the new location, the arena game mode will receive some technical changes including changes to weapon prices, utility prices and ability prices. Certain ability and UI changes will also be made to improve the combat experience in the arena.
New additions include a scoreboard viewable from the map screen, a new way to report players from the map screen and extra equipment from round three and after to allow players to spend the arena currency on better weapon, utility and ability upgrades.
