Sir Rod Stewart fans were delighted today when it was announced that he will be playing a special summer tour - with a gig at Edinburgh Castle.
The Maggie May singer toured last year so to continue on his success he has added a run of summer shows.
Sir Rod, 78, will head to Edinburgh Castle on Thursday, July 6, and tickets can be found here.
The six new gigs will see Rod head to the capital as well as Bristol, Hull, Durham, Northampton and Plymouth.
The rocker said he was excited for the summer so he can perform under the stars.
Speaking about the new dates, Rod said: "My favourite memories have been summer nights with a beer or two alongside the best fans in the world, I'm impatiently awaiting this summer playing at a variety of special venues - football, cricket and rugby stadiums, estates and castles! We'll all be dancing under the stars."
Rod's Edinburgh Castle gig will be the first he's played there in 13 years.
Pre-sale tickets are available on Tuesday, February 14, and general tickets go on-sale Friday, February 17 and can be found here.
