Sinitta predicts Simon Cowell's reaction to Amanda Holden’s Phillip Schofield feud

Simon Cowell will have no problem with Amanda Holden’s beef with Phillip Schofield – so says Simon’s very unofficial spokeswoman Sinitta.

Simon is too “clever and loyal to get between some stupid spat”, the singer says, after one guest presenter called for Amanda to lose her role on Britain’s Got Talent over the fracas.

Reports claim that Phil stopped Amanda co-hosting This Morning while Holly Willoughby stepped in for Ant McPartlin on I’m A Celebrity...

Last week, Amanda added fuel to the fire, naming Phillip as something she wouldn’t want to find in her house – along with spiders and flies – in an on-air game.

She later claimed that she invited Phil out for coffee, but said he ignored her invitation.

Sinitta says: “The fact that Amanda is being trolled on Twitter is despicable and disgusting.

"She is a national treasure and has a heart of gold. She has the best sense of humour. I know Amanda personally and she works hard.

“Will Simon sack her because of her spat with Phillip Schofield?

“Absolutely not. She is brilliant at her job. She has worked hard to get where she is.

“Simon is clever and loyal and he is not going to get between some stupid spat between her and Phil. He is much bigger than that.”

She added of Phil: “I thought Phillip’s feelings may be hurt but he is a big star and he is a big man.”
