Singer performs at her cheating ex's wedding and throws water on him in revenge

Weddings are often associated with happy memories where you're surrounded by your closest friends and family to enjoy the day. Two newlyweds have walked away from their special day with long-lasting memories, but they were far from what they were originally expecting.

A woman made the savage decision to sing at her ex's wedding - who was getting married to the woman whom she was cheated on with. Documenting the jaw-dropping ordeal to popular video-streaming service TikTok, singer @alexandra_starr sang her heart out and quickly caused heads to turn with the brave decision, which even resulted in her swirling the groom with water.

"So I was asked to sing at my ex's wedding…" She captioned the post of the now viral video, having surpassed 10.8 million views to date.

While the bride and groom were romantically dancing, Alexandra had her back turned to the couple who were seemingly none the wiser to the ex's appearance.

The newlyweds were undoubtedly shocked as the singer turned around, which left guests' jaws dropping.

In a second video, Alexandra is seen taking a glass of water from a guest before she throws it into the groom's face and storms away.

While some users are convinced that the whole video may be a hoax, the TikToker cleared up loose ends about the surprising ordeal.

Someone asked: "But did he cheat on you with this girl and did she know about you? Cause if so, you living the dream and I'm here for it. If not, then no sis."

Alexandra responded: "Yes, she is the girl that he cheated on me with. Do I know for a fact that she knows I was in the picture? No, but he and I were dating for five and a half years and he had photos of me everywhere."

"So, how did he not know you were the singer for the band he hired?" A second questioned.

The singer replied: "So, they saw a different band when they booked the band. I'm a coverage singer, so when singers can't make it to their gig for whatever reason I usually get a call asking 'are you available on this date?' and I said yes, so he had no idea."

"The keyboard player is someone I’ve worked with for a while and knew of the whole story. He was in on it with me, but not when I walked off stage after," she added.

After the vid rocketed into internet stardom, viewers rushed to the comment section to share their thoughts on the video.

One TikToker gushed: "HAHAHAHA GIRL. I AM LIVING FOR THIS ENTIRE STORYLINE."

"IMMEDIATELY ON YOUR SIDE," a second added.

A different user wrote: "These are the kind of weddings I want to be invited to."

Another commented: "Girl you’re lucky that bride isn’t as crazy as me, I’d be throwing hands before you could finish the song - not on my day!!!
