Simon Cowell has responded to a viral clip of him clapping on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
The video, which circulated after his September appearance, showed him clapping in an unusual manner as he entered the set.
Speaking on Jamie East’s Tales from the Celebrity Trenches podcast on 6 May, Cowell admitted he has not seen the clip.
He stated that he gets “really embarrassed about seeing this stuff” and confirmed he can clap.
Cowell explained that he was simply “unprepared to waltz and clap on that day”.
