Some useful links to what's on in Leeds
It's Leeds Festival weekend - you can find all the details over at the Leeds festival official website.
On Monday, thousands of people will flock to Chapeltown for the 43rd Leeds Carnival parade. The colourful show leaves Potternewton Park at around 2pm, taking about three hours to cover the route. The official website is here and the BBC have previewed it here.
The son of reggae legend Bob Marley has been confirmed as the headline performer at this year's Leeds Reggae Concert. Julian Marley, whose father is arguably the most famous reggae artist of all time, will lead the line-up of acts at the UK's biggest free black music event to be held at Potternewton Park in Leeds from noon on Sunday 29th August.
And, of course, there'es the rugby league Challenge Cup final between Leeds Rhinos and Warrington Wolves. There's a preview over at the BBC.
Ideas for things to do this weekend can also be found at sites including Leeds Guide and My Life in Leeds.
