Side-splitting Edinburgh TikTok shows club goer playing Wordle among revellers

A hilarious TikTok clip shows an Edinburgh club goer completing his Wordle in a popular nightspot.

The bizarre video shows the young man sitting among crowds in WhyNot nightclub. Text appears on the video that reads “Not Carsten doing his daily Wordle in Whynot”.

Other clubbers can be seen dancing in the background, some even dancing on chairs, as Carsten sits looking perplexed at the puzzle of the day.

Hunched over with a WKD alcopop he is entirely entranced by his phone, despite the loud party going on around him.

Staring at the letters available he eventually seeks help from those on the dance floor to complete the popular New York Times word game.

A young woman can be seen offering him advice in the dark club

Triumphantly showing the camera his completed record at the end, he managed to reach success on his fourth attempt with LED party lights flashing behind him.

The video was posted by user Lillie Barton, she uploaded the video of her friend with the sarcastic caption “got to respect the grind”.

Wordle is a popular worldwide hidden word game that can be completed once every day. The aim of the game is to guess the correct word of the day in as few tries as possible.

The game refreshes at midnight which would have been the perfect time for Carsten to give his new puzzle a try in the club.
