'Show me the money!' - Tyson Fury says he will return the ring in shock u-turn on retirement

Tyson Fury has shockingly reversed his decision to retire and stated that he will return to the ring if the right opportunity comes up. The Gypsy King has continuously stated that he will retire after his win over Dillian Whyte he would hang up his gloves at the age of just 33. However, Fury has not yet surrendered his belts and is still officially heavyweight champion.

This means that he's still an active fighter, and it seems that he'll remain in this status in potentially facing the winner of Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk's rematch which takes place in Saudi Arabia this summer.

Fury has stated that he'll only consider an offer, though, if the money is right.

Speaking to Frank Warren on Queensberry Promotions YouTube page, Fury said: "When this middleweight (Usyk) knocks out this bodybuilder (Joshua), there’s only gonna be one man isn’t there.

“I am a prize fighter, but it's gonna cost if you want me to do a mission on this middleweight. I'll show you what a real heavyweight does. Then that’s gonna be expensive. We can talk when they have deep pockets!”

When asked if he believes he will return to the ring, Fury said: “100%. Like Jerry Maguire said, ‘Show me the money!’

“I train every day, twice a day. I do that to keep me mentally fit and well. I do a lot of training – minimum running four miles, maximum six. I spar in the gym and I enjoy my life.

“I like to have a few beers, kick a couple of taxis – I am sure you’ve all seen that!

“I am very happy, but I am keeping myself busy. Then I will talk to Frank about what I am going to do about getting back in the ring sometime soon."
