Should the Cardinals re-sign OT Joe Barksdale?

Among the many pending free agents is offensive lineman Joe Barksdale. Barksdale was signed on December 5 and started the final four games at right tackle.

The Cardinals do not have a sure starter at that position for 2019. Potentially, it could be 2018 seventh-round draft pick Korey Cunningham, who finished the season on injured reserve, but Barksdale is an eight-year veteran who has been a starter for six seasons.

If the Cardinals wish to re-sign him, it probably will not take much money. However, he might not be a priority unless it is to add depth to the offensive line.

According to Cardinals digital correspondent, the team wishes to upgrade at the position over what they had last year.

At 31 years old, he will not likely be a priority for any team. He could return on a minimum deal but probably will not get a look until later in free agency.

Do you think he should be re-signed? Vote in the poll!
