Shoppers praise Primark's new £8 'temperature regulating' pyjamas amid heatwave

Primark has been showered with praise after adding to its range of 'temperature regulating' clothing, aimed at women with menopause. It also comes as Brits continue to swelter thanks to soaring daytime and nigh time temperatures.

The country's current heatwave has been sending the mercury close to 30C during the day, with figures lingering around 20C at night for most. However, the retailer's latest addition is designed to help combat those pesky night sweats, and is suitable for anryone looking for relief from night time heat, OK! reports.

From just £8, shoppers can get their hands on the store's new Menopause Pyjama Tank Top, with sizes ranging from XS to XL - including matching shorts also for £8. A description of the top reads: "At Primark HQ we know trying to get a good night’s sleep during the menopause can be tricky, that’s why we’ve created a super comfy and clever range to help you sleep through the night."

The budget retailer says the cooling pyjamas are crafted from a complex mix of yarns that absorbs heat from the skin to help keep you feel ‘cool and comfortable’. It continues: "Designed specifically with the menopause in mind, this pyjama top is made using breathable fabric with the ability to regulate your body temperature.

"It reacts to hot flushes quickly to help cool you down, and for the post-flush chills it uses the absorbed heat to warm you back up. Sounds great, right?

"But it also looks gorgeous too! The soft V-neck shape is super flattering and it’s got just enough stretch to form comfortably to your body."

The top is part of Primark's Menopause range, which has been specially designed using ‘clever technology’, creating ‘lightweight and soft-touch’ clothing. Many people have shared their joy at the store selling such clothing.

On Facebook, Catherine Watson wrote: "I got these and they are great." Susan Mcloughlin added: "Great if your still menopausing." Shel Squire declared: "Omg I need these!"

Lisa Rodden-Winstanley tagged a friend and said: "You will have try these." Sue Wibberley also tagged a mate and put: "Think we need these pjs."
