Shoe trader hangs self day after anniversary

BHOPAL: A day after his marriage anniversary, a 32-year-old shoe trader allegedly died by suicide by hanging himself at his home in Teela Jamalpura on Friday morning. No suicide was recovered so the exact reason behind his extreme step was not clear yet.

Investigation officer ASI Avinash Dubey said that Narsingh Solanki, 32, a resident of Moti Quarter in Teela Jamalpura, had opened a shoe shop in Karond area around two months back. Earlier, he worked as a vegetable merchant. He has two daughters including a 2-year-old and a 6-months old. His marriage anniversary was on Thursday.

The family including his wife, daughters and parents celebrated the anniversary and went to sleep. Later, around 6am on Friday, his mother spotted him hanging in a small room on the terrace of the house and informed others. The family was shocked after the sudden incident. Acting on information, Teela Jamalpura police reached the spot and registered a case.

ASI Yadav said that no suicide note was recovered but the family members revealed that his shop was not doing well so he used to remain upset.
