Shock after baby injured in bite attack in Fife

A man bit a baby on the leg in a shocking incident in Aberdour.

The culprit was 34-year-old Yunhyeok Nam, of Forres Drive, Glenrothes.

He appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court accompanied by an interpreter but it soon became clear he did not require one.

Nam admitted that on March 2 at Craigard, Livingston Lane, Aberdour, he assaulted a child then aged 11-months-old by biting him on the leg to his injury.

Sheriff Susan Duff called for reports and Nam will be sentenced on August 26.
