After keeping her mum for a long time, sister Shibani Dandekar finally broke her silence on the same and spoke about Anusha-Karan’s much-talked-about break-up. Talking to a news portal, Shibani reportedly said that her breakup was a difficult period in her life. As it happened just before the lockdown, it was a tricky space for her to navigate.
Elaborating on what prompted Anusha to take the decision, Shibani added that her sister had reached a point where she wants to be true to herself and wants to live the best version of what she can of her own life. According to Shibani, it was an important journey for Anusha to be on.
Shibani also showered praise on her sister for taking a stand for herself even though she was under a lot of scrutiny. According to her, we hide so much of what’s going on in our lives because we worry about what other people would think. Anusha was open about it even though her relationship and she were in the public eye. Shibani added that she wants to be honest about it and hope people will relate to it and be brave enough to speak their truth.
