Shein named as the most Google searched brand of 2022

What if we tell you that it is not Zara or H&M, but Shein that was Google searched the most this year. The fast fashion Chinese brand has become the most popular brand of 2022.

It is also the most Googled brand in 113 countries. This is merely because of the brand's strategy of selling stylish clothes at a cheaper rate.

The company is infamous for its unethical practices. From extra working hours to employee dissatisfaction. The company was founded in 2008. It got banned in India after the Indo-China tension. But it is growing with leaps and bounds around the world.

According to Euromonitor, Shein made $10 billion USD in revenue in 2020, while rivals like Asos and Boohoo took $4.4 billion USD and $2.4 billion USD respectively in the same year. The e-commerce platform is valued at $100 billion USD, making it the largest online-only fashion company in the world.
