Shea McGee has just dropped the best tablescape inspiration, and she's revealed exactly how to get the look – I'm snapping up these elegant pieces before they're gone

From bold florals to charming gingham, the new season offers endless design inspiration, so why settle on just one look? There are countless fall table decor ideas to explore and trends to experiment with. With the harvest season approaching, I’m starting with two fall tablescapes from the experts at McGee & Co.

In a recent Instagram post, Shea McGee showcased two seasonal table settings using contrasting fall decor ideas, reminding me of just how much variety autumnal aesthetics offer. Whether you favor rustic fall designs with neutral palettes or rich hues paired with striking statement pieces, there are endless ways to refresh and elevate your space this time of year.

The first of McGee & Co.’s fall tablescapes is built around a dramatic color palette, anchored by the beautiful Gothic-style Hestercombe tablecloth. Shea balances the intensity with lighter accents, like woven Hermione placemats and lace trim napkins, creating a look that feels rich yet approachable.

While I’m a longtime fan of earthy tones and maximalist fall decor, I couldn’t help but swoon over the second tablescape – a masterclass in minimalism. The Catania linen ruffle tablecloth and matching Catania linen napkins, paired with gold accents, create a scheme that is understated yet brimming with visual interest.

‘From the name cards to the centerpiece to the candles, you are creating an entire experience,’ Shea notes in the video. Fortunately, every element of both stunning tablescapes is available to shop – here’s how to recreate McGee & Co.’s fall look in your own home.

Envisioning a seasonal tablescape with a little more color? I've been eagerly awaiting Gustaf Westman's tableware collection with IKEA – it'll certainly bring a playful, maximalist edge to my fall dinners.
