Cronulla skipper Wade Graham is certain he won't miss any further NRL matches after a head clash late in his team's heavy NRL loss to Melbourne.
He left the field in the 68th minute for a HIA - a major concern for the Sharks in his first match back after a two-week lay-off following a concussion.
Graham collided with Tui Kamikamica late in the 40-14-defeat, with the Storm prop requiring taping on a head wound.
The backrower said he hurt his cheekbone and asked the trainer to check it for damage.
"I had the clash with the kick return that split Tui and my cheekbone was sore so when we had that break in play I was pretty tired and stayed down," Graham told AAP.
"I asked our trainer to check my cheekbone but because I stayed down the doctor said the guidelines are that I have to come off.
"I came off, did the test, passed the test and I could have gone back on but it was too late.
"I feel fine - I was just frustrated that I had to come off."
Graham hadn't played since suffering a head knock against the Sydney Roosters in round five.
He wanted to take a precautionary approach after suffering two concussions in 15 days, with ongoing head knocks and symptoms having forced Roosters veteran Jake Friend into retirement.
Graham was disappointed with his team's fade-out after leading the Storm 8-6 at halftime.
"It was the ultimate game of two halves but we will get there," he said.
