Currys has launched a deal that lets shoppers trade in old appliances for newer models at a discounted rate.
The deals form part of the Currys flash sale which is currently live, see here for more, and includes discounts on a range of products from TVs, laptops, mobiles and more.
Shoppers who are looking for an upgrade on their hoover can take advantage of the floor trade offer that's available at Currys. The offer gives £40 off the marked price of the new item when customers trade in their old vacuum in store.

So, if you have old household appliances lying around the house, rather than let them gather dust, you can now use them to snap up a discount on a brand new product.
This Shark Anti HairWrap & PowerFins IZ300UK Cordless Vacuum Cleaner in copper is included in the offer. Originally priced at £249, the discount code takes it down to £209.
To get the deal shoppers will need to use the code FLOORTRADE40 to claim their discount on the Curry's website and then bring their old appliance to their local branch to make the most of the offer.
The cordless device from Shark includes two motorised brushrolls which Shark say can dig deep into carpets to lift dirt, or sweep across hard floors to pick up dust and crumbs.
