Ireland forward Shane Long is out of tonight's game against Portugal after testing positive for Covid-19.
The Southampton striker was named in the Ireland squad and trained with the side but tested positive for the virus.
The FAI confirmed the news ahead of kick off.
And the Association says that Long has isolated from the group.
In a statement, they said: "The Football Association of Ireland can confirm striker Shane Long has tested positive for COVID-19.
"The player has been isolated from the group as per COVID-19 protocols ahead of tonight's FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifier against Portugal and we wish Shane well in his recovery."
Aaron Connolly and Adam Idah both start up front for Ireland as Jamie McGrath makes his debut.
Jamie McGrath gets his first start for Ireland as Gavin Bazunu starts in goal while both Seamus Coleman and Matt Doherty both start.
John Egan, Dara O'Shea and Shane Duffy will marshal the defence while Josh Cullen and Jeff Hendrick are also in the side.
