The Scottish Football Association (SFA) has confirmed the officials for Rangers' Scottish Premiership opener against Dundee United at Tannadice.

The game marks Derek McInnes' first professional match as manager, following the ex-Hearts boss' summer move from Tynecastle. In the opposite dugout, he faces Jim Goodwin, whom he has faced in many of his previous roles.

With Rangers and Dundee United officially kicking off the 2026/27 Premiership season, the Ibrox side will be looking to start their season with three points.

Ahead of the game, the SFA has confirmed the officiating team, with Nick Walsh being handed the task of overseeing Friday night's game in Dundee.

Walsh will be assisted by Calum Spence and Jonathan Bell on their respective touchlines, while Peter Stuart will act as the fourth official.

Away from Tannadice, Steven McLean will be in charge of VAR at Clydesdale House, supported by Gary Hilland as his assistant.

Last season, Walsh officiated six matches involving Rangers, including two Old Firm derbies. Additionally, he was the man in the middle for matches against St Mirren, Hearts, Aberdeen, and Hibs.
