INDORE: Teams of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College in Indore collected 110 samples on Friday to complete sample collection for sero-survey of children under 18 years to know the prevalence of Covid-19 in the city.
With this the teams collected over 2003 samples classified in different age groups of kids with maximum in age group of nine to 18 from 25 selected wards of Indore Municipal Corporation. The sample collection began on August 9 with 25 teams in the district.
MGM dean Dr Sanjay Dixit said that during this sero-survey the teams went door-to-door for collection of blood samples of children from selected house randomised through a software. Around 78.60% families supported the team in giving blood samples of children, said Dr Dixit.
