Serious Question: Can You Rock Suede in Summer (Without Being Drenched in Sweat)?

Saying hello to summer means saying goodbye to certain seasonal staples. You're obviously not going to need to keep that puffer coat or chunky sweater front-and-center in your closet. After all, you need to make room for all of your T-shirts, shorts, tank tops and minidresses. There are also certain materials that go into hibernation until at least late September. Think wool, down and suede. Although we'd like to make a case for keeping the latter in rotation. As long as you stock your aforementioned closet with summer suede pieces you can sport the fabric from here on out.

The secret is to look for summer-appropriate silhouettes. This is one instance when it's OK if your skirt is as short as possible without crossing the indecent exposure line. Same goes for dresses. Sleeveless is a good way to go, too. There are also a seemingly endless supply of suede shorts. Some are definitely more revealing than others. Bra tops and even swimsuits are all up for grabs.
