Sergio Reguilon starts, Emerson Royal out - The Tottenham team Conte should pick vs Aston Villa

Antonio Conte has more options to choose from when he names his Tottenham Hotspur side to face Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Spurs boss will go into the match with all but two players fit and ready to play with only Oliver Skipp still out following a setback in his recovery from his pelvic problem, while Japhet Tanganga will be out until pre-season following knee injury. Tottenham head to Villa looking to remain in the top four despite Arsenal playing earlier in the day at home against Brighton in a match they are expected to take all three points from.

We asked our three Spurs correspondents to name the team they expected Conte to select to ensure Tottenham bring back the points from Villa Park.

Right now there's only one main decision for Conte to make with his line-up and that's whether one of the left wing-backs returns to the team. The Spurs boss is likely to want to return to the balance of having a left-footer on that side of the pitch rather than the unbalanced line-up he had last weekend, despite the victory against Newcastle.

Conte did seem to be preferring Ryan Sessegnon before his hamstring injury against Everton, but Sergio Reguilon will be the fitter player having only missed one match with a knee problem. Matt Doherty is on top form at the moment and despite his goal on Sunday, Emerson Royal is likely to be the man to make way.

Elsewhere the team picks itself right now with the momentum and stability they are showing.

Gold's team: Lloris; Romero, Dier, Davies; Doherty, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Reguilon; Kulusevski, Kane, Son.

Antonio Conte only really has one decision to make ahead of Saturday's game despite a couple of his substitutes taking their chance late on vs Newcastle last weekend. The key call comes in the left wing-back position as Sergio Reguilon and Ryan Sessegnon have returned to training following their recent injuries.

Emerson Royal did come into the side last time out and score but the return of the duo is likely to come as bad news for him. With Reguilon only missing the Newcastle game and Sessegnon missing a whole month after limping off against Everton, the Spaniard should return to the left flank, which in turn will see Matt Doherty switch back to the right.

Steven Bergwijn is in confident mood at present following his goals for Netherlands and Tottenham but the form of the front three means he will have to settle for a place on the bench once again.

Guest's team: Lloris; Romero, Dier, Davies; Doherty, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Reguilon; Kulusevski, Kane, Son.

Another game Tottenham need three points in for their continued battle for a place in the top four. Conte will hope his starting XI can continue to produce the same performances they have in recent matches, to secure another win.

The Italian revealed that Sessegnon and Reguilon could both return for the trip to Villa Park. However because the Spaniard has only missed one game and the 21-year-old has missed a fair few, it may be more sensible to start with Reguilon at left wing-back and bring Sessegnon on later in the game, to help build up his match fitness.

The rest of the team seems to pick itself at the moment, with everyone's form maintaining or improving, making it difficult for any of them to warrant a rotation. Therefore Conte is likely to stick with those he has relied on in recent weeks and hope they can produce another solid display.

de Duve's team: Lloris; Romero, Dier, Davies; Doherty, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Reguilon; Kulusevski, Son; Kane.
