Canberra's top public servants have settled in for two weeks of questions into the inner workings of their departments.
Budget estimates kicks off on Monday with appearances by the parliamentary departments and the climate change department.
Department of Parliamentary Services secretary Jaala Hinchcliffe will appear for the fourth time as head of the controversial department.
Over that period, she's been forced to answer questions about the sudden termination of her predecessor and a decision to hand over tens of thousands of sensitive communications to a third party without the necessary security clearance.
Mike Kaiser, the secretary in charge of the climate change department, will face questions from a Coalition that has declared it wants to dismantle Labor's climate change bureaucracy.
Representatives for the Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion are also due to appear later in the evening, while Victoria Anderson will appear for just the second time as Agriculture boss.
