Sefton Village has officially welcomed back The Punchbowl - with a twist.
The popular watering hole closed its doors in March and has now been taken over by Ego.
Earlier this year, the ECHO announced that Ego’s city centre restaurant would be closing and moving to Sefton Village - and now the move is complete.

Following a six week refurbishment and two huge charity fundraisers, Ego at The Punchbowl is officially open, with a whole new look.
The new site sees Ego make the move from high street restaurant to a community based pub.
The restaurant will serve Ego’s classic Mediterranean dishes and cocktails, along with traditional Sunday roasts and locally brewed ales.
The new menu also includes a range of vegan, gluten free, and children’s favourites.
Robert Shaw, general manager of Ego at The Punchbowl, said: “We are incredibly excited for our future in Sefton Village.

Ego at The Punchbowl is open from 11am - 10:30pm every day of the week.
