FORMER SNP chief executive Peter Murrell pleaded guilty to embezzlement of more than £400,000 in court after purchasing hundreds of items using SNP cash.
Murrell, 61, bought a number of items using SNP funds, which were revealed in the indictment ahead of his plea hearing.
A £1200 space telescope, a designer bread bin costing £60 and two toilet seats for nearly £70 are some of the items Murrell bought using money he embezzled from the SNP.
He also bought three designer manicure sets for nearly £194, DVDs of the Danish political thriller Borgen, a Grand Theft Auto V video game and a designer egg poacher set for nearly £24.
Also among his purchases were a Jura Giga 5 Cromo coffee machine for nearly £3232 – and a book of speeches by his estranged wife, Nicola Sturgeon.
The 126-page indictment details hundreds of things Murrell bought using the embezzled funds.
Several items that were in the initial indictment were removed from the document as part of Murrell's plea agreement.
Using the available court documents, The National has pulled together the full list of purchases Murrell made, which you can read below.
