The New York Giants have pulled the plug on Eli Manning’s career as their starting quarterback, and barring something unforeseen, that’s not going to change.
Manning will unceremoniously ride out the remainder of his time in East Rutherford on the bench, giving way to rookie quarterback Daniel Jones and a reset of the franchise.
While the change may be sad for some, there remains a lot to love about Eli Manning, who is he and what’s done done, both on the field and off of it.
