One man was killed and another injured in two separate shootings in Dublin on Monday night.
The fatal incident happened in the Ronanstown area of the city at around 10pm.
The victim was shot several times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was the second shooting in the city on Monday night.
The incident occurred within the same hour that a close associate of the mobster known as ‘Mr Flashy’ was shot in the Finglas area of west Dublin.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, gardai said.
