Second person dead after two-car crash in Cook on Saturday

A second person has died following a two-car collision in Cook on Saturday morning.

ACT police said a person died in hospital overnight, this came after one person died at the scene on Saturday morning.

The accident happened about 11.30am on Coulter Drive between William Hovell Drive and Springvale Drive. Two cars were involved in a head-on collision.

Three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Coulter Drive was closed for about five hours on Saturday. It reopened about 6pm.

ACT Policing are investigating the incident and will prepare a report for the coroner.
