A SECOND man has been arrested following an alleged attempted murder in Glasgow.
The incident happened shortly before 7pm on Monday, June 23, on Ashgill Road in the north of the city.
Police were alerted to a report of an alleged disturbance involving three vehicles and a pedestrian in the area.
During the incident, the pedestrian, a 22-year-old man, was said to have been hit by a car.
He was taken to Glasgow's Royal Infirmary for treatment. At the moment, his condition is unknown.
A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection, police said.
He will appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, July 3.
It comes after an 18-year-old man was also arrested and charged over the incident. The teenager is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, July 2.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
