Search launched for missing Scots woman who hasn't been seen for a week

A search has been launched for a missing Scots woman who hasn't been seen for a week.

Police are appealing for the help of the public to trace 50-year-old Maria Radford, who is from the Morningside area of Edinburgh.

Officers say it is possible Maria may have travelled to Glasgow.

She was last seen at around 8pm on Sunday, March 28, around Morningside Place in the capital.

Maria is known to have connections in Glasgow and may have travelled to the city centre in particular.

She is described as white, around 5ft 6ins, of heavy build with short brown hair.

When last seen she was wearing a green jacket with a cream fluffy hood, a black hoodie, a blue patterned scarf, dark jogging trousers, dark trainers with white stripes and white soles, and black sunglasses.

Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 3124 of Sunday, March 28.
