Seahawks punter Michael Dickson named to NFL.com All-Under-25 Team

NFL.com writer Marc Sessler created a superteam of NFL players who are under the age of 25, and Seattle Seahawks punter Michael Dickson, 23, was among those who made the squad.

Dickson was a revelation for the Seahawks last season after he was selected in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL draft. He beat out veteran Jon Ryan for the job and proceeded to rack up 78 punts for a whopping 3,759 yards. That was good for an average of 48.2 yards per punt, which ranked second in the NFL.

Dickson was named a Pro Bowler and an All-Pro in his first NFL season, no small feat for any player, never mind a fifth-round pick who was mocked by many after Seattle made the selection.

Also on the under-25 team were quarterback Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs); running backs Alvin Kamara (Saints), Ezekiel Elliott (Cowboys) and Saquon Barkley (Giants); wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (Steelers); defensive end Joey Bosa (Chargers); cornerback Jalen Ramsey (Jaguars); and safety Derwin James (Chargers).
