The Seattle Seahawks were able to muster a much-needed win Thursday night against a divisional opponent, the Arizona Cardinals. While the Rams won their matchup Week 11 as well, Seattle was still able to jump up a few spots in Touchdown Wire’s latest NFL power rankings from No. 13 to No. 9.
“The panic was real in the Pacific Northwest . . . ” writes Mark Schofield. “Now Seattle has a bit of breathing room as they enter perhaps their smoothest stretch of the season. Over the next four weeks they’ll play the Eagles, the Giants, the Jets and Washington Football Team. Four teams with a combined 8-18-1 record.
“Perhaps that too eases the panic in the Northwest.”
The Seahawks are now 7-3 on the season and neck and neck with the Rams in the NFC West. Seattle next squares off against the Eagles in Philadelphia on Monday night.
