Seahawks acquire 4 additional draft picks via 1st-round trades

The Seattle Seahawks were heading into the 2019 NFL draft with just four selections, the lowest in the league this year, before they traded defensive end Frank Clark to the Chiefs and netted an extra first-rounder (No. 29) to bring the total to five.

Seattle was also able to execute two draft-day trades on Thursday to pick up an additional four selections.

In the first deal of the day, the Seahawks traded back with Green Bay at No. 21 and received the Packers’ first-round pick (No. 30) and two fourth-rounders (No. 114 and No. 118).

Seattle then selected defensive end L.J. Collier at No. 29 and quickly dealt the No. 30 pick just received in the Green Bay trade to the Giants for a second, fourth and fifth-round pick.

After all was said and done, Seattle added four additional selections to its arsenal over the final two days of the draft.

Round 4, 114 overall

Round 4, 118 overall

Round 4, 124 overall
