A Scottish hotel has been named as one of the top 25 hotels to visit in the world by TripAdvisor.
No.26 by the Sea in Oban is the only UK destination to be recognised on the travel website's Hottest New Hotels list, placing at number 25. The hotel, which has been called "sensational" and "stunning" by visitors, has a five-star TripAdvisor rating based on 176 reviews.
The news comes a year after No.26 by the Sea received investment from The Cumberland Building Society, which worked with hotel, bar and restaurant owner Paul Sloan to develop the hotel. It now stands as a boutique sea view hotel that's a perfect retreat for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle.
The hotel includes nine guest rooms, which are all uniquely designed and come with stunning sea or woodlands views. There is also a drawing room and lounge that looks out across the water to the island of Kerrera.
Meanwhile, the Sea Terrace includes couches and fire pits, making it the perfect spot to relax and take in Oban's spectacular sunsets.
